Another day, another dollar....

What a weekend! I feel great, and managed to get alot accomplished. Friday I was without my truck for a while, but I managed to make it over to my sister's in time to pick up my niece from school. I remember being young and my mom showing up to kindergarten with my sis, or my grandma......it always made my day, and my niece was super excited to see me. My sis had some shopping to do, and I needed my rant/gossip session with her, so we hung out most of the afternoon. I got some school shopping done, and finally found some shoes! I love shoes. I have spent too much money (for me) but I needed some jeans and some flats for school. Flip flops aren't really fashionable year-round. Saturday my boss called and needed me to come in to work right away. She is still having family problems, so I went in early. It was a looooong day. I worked 12:30 to 9:30. In retail time, that is like 48 hours. Lol. Jerry was in St. Louis with Chuck, so Matt and I met up at Huey's for a late dinner. Gossip buddies are the best. Little did we know while we were dining - my ex and his wife were eating as well! We had finished up and gone out to smoke, when they emerged from the restaurant. Luckily, no one said a word, and that works for me! Sunday I shopped some more, fought with Jerry, and did some laundry. Nothing out of the ordinary. Today, I got all my school stuff together, got my nails and toes done, and got a hair cut. I think my hair is too short, but it will grow. I am bitter, but I am trying not to be. All in all, it was a good weekend for me. I am liking my new outlook on things.....and it seems to be getting me somewhere.
